No shit! I have no lofty goals for a never ending beer quest. Although I do enjoy trying new beers, drinking is fun, and relaxing. Period.

I try different beers just to see what is out there. Finding the best beer is like searching for the grail. The search is the thing.

In Reply To #9 I totally agree. I've had over 1000 beers so far, but there are 30,000+ out there. I won't rest until I've had them all.

I have to agree with #5. Searching for the perfect beer has been my quest, however, just when I find something I really like, there is something else that might be better, so on and on it goes. Cheers!

Why do I choose???? It's not a choice. It's a reflex.

I like beer, and I like beer people. Yes, the quest for liquid Nirvana is an enjoyable sideline. But I wouldn't pursue the perfect beer as a life quest.

In Reply To #11 Yes, I think you're exactly right! I wouldn't want to say that I've found the "perfect" beer, or even that I have a particular favorite. It's just too much fun to keep looking...
