The name is Old and familiar but the product has been altered on numerous occasions. I saw the new white can and assumed it was an N/A at first. It used to have a flavor which hinted at it's Stroh Brewery origin. I didn't care for Stroh's beer but the influence gave Ol Mil a somewhat more interesting flavor than most macroswills. The current version is bland, slightly sweet, and pale.

Everything about this IPA sez QUALITY...flavor, appearance, color. It has a palate-pleasing variety of taste notes and a mildly bitter lingering aftertaste. It is one of the best I've tried.

I was expecting more from a Belgian. The smell (apparently normal, judging from other reviews) was a skunky/burnt. The beer was effervescent, almost champagne-like. If this is how it normally is, I'll want to sample some other genuine Belgian beers before making a judgment.

I'm guessing abv 4.8%...perhaps one of their best efforts. Very drinkable, balanced sweet beer, somewhat bland (mass production product). Not Brewery Hill or Samuel Adams but not bad at all ! Just today 8-23-04 I realized that I gave JW Dundee a slightly HIGHER numerical rating than Sam Adams! Well, I'll leave it; must be evidence of something or another...?!?

I drank this when I was living in Yorktown for a short while. It beats Bud and Coors; I haven't seen it for a long time until today. Can't tell if this is the same brew or not, however.
