Hurricane Beer

Non-Beer Discussion by MTNOLE

Well I live about 10 miles north of Ft. Lauderdale and we have some nice weather right now, about 70 mile an hour winds lots of rain and I just lost 2 large branches off the tree in front of my house. Its time to crack the Trappistes Rochefort 10 when things get bad drink something good, before I lose power![:D]

Not only do I hope that the citizens of Louisiana are safe, but I hope the Abita Brewery is okay. They make some great beer, and I hope that they won't have any issues. Love me some Turbodog.

Yeah, this ass mangler should be one of the first the cops bust all to hell. If his tub was full of diapers and formula, or bottles of water, I'd almost forgive him. But this sick asshole is proof of the worst of human nature. Please allow him the pleasure of some nasty water-borne illness while he swills his Heinie.

Yes! So sorry. I should've posted an update. She and her family are fine, at my folk's house. The report is they still have a home to go to as well, though with all the looting they don't know what shape it'll be in when they get back. As long as they're safe. Thanks for asking.

bigtime fuc'kd here in southern louisiana...just got my power back on yesterday. new orleans is a total flood with thousands of people dead and counting. the people that stayed behind are stuck there with no food, water, and medical attention. where i live doubled in population size from the new orleans evac. all kinds of thugs here looting, car jacking, and starting small riots from here to baton rouge...the remainder of all new orleans will be evecuated sometime in the next week and will come here which will triple the norm population..it will get worse here before it gets better

It sounds like just unimaginable chaos. Glad to hear you made it through the storm, but like you said, it will get worse before it gets better. I hope the local authorities can keep some resemblance of order. We're all pulling for ya, Guzz.
