Gas Prices
Non-Beer Discussion by CLASH
$2.50 a gallon? Screw that I need an electric car! 3 years ago it was like $1.20. How did it double in 3 years? I remember it was less than a dollar in 1999. Too bad my area is so spread out that I always have to drive. Im 2 miles from a gas station, and like 5 miles from a grocery store.

Hi, gas prices will always be our main problem these days. Actually, this crisis has been spread all over. I guess, no one has to be blamed for it. The only thing, we must do is to save on gas especially if we can't control its price increase. The only help we could give is to discipline ourselves by limiting our use of cars that primarily consumed gas the most:)

At best I've paid $1.87; typical for the area is about $2.37 right now.

If (when) the prices go back up, It's Obama's fault. It's W Bush's fault. It's the Saudi's fault. It's the Kardashian's fault. It's Johnny Manziel's fault. Enjoy it while we got it.

I'll go with Manziel. I am actually quite surprised they didn;t go right back up after elections. That's bucking a trend...

Just paid a buck-seventy-six a gallon! Filled up my truck for less than $30!

You know what the Saudis are doing, don't you? They're letting the bottom drop out because we can't afford to produce oil much below $50/barrel. The US oil companies will be forced to lay off workers and, gasp, lose profits. Gasoline will go back up. The Saudis will force it to - they can produce oil at around $10-15/barrel minimum. BTW, without any discounts, bought gas at $1.839/gallon this weekend. That was nice because we were traveling.

Yup and there is likely US-Saudi cooperation under it all to stick it to Putin in the meantime.
