Eisbock
Eisbock
55 beers | 3.668 Avg ScoreEisbocks are concentrated doppelbocks, where the original doppelbock is frozen and a fraction of the ice/water is then removed to intensify the flavor and alcohol level in the beer. Their aroma, flavor, and mouthfeel are therefore comparable in kind to doppelbocks, yet significantly stronger and heavier and with deeper and darker colors. With alcohol concentrations as high as 30% ABV, eisbocks can be quite warming and represent one of the strongest styles of beer.
