Clear dark ruby with light brown foam head, reducing to smaller foam ring, lacing to glass. Aroma is strong barley with some bread notes. Taste is bittersweet, tones of bread, barley and little yeast. Longer aftertaste, barley, liitle sweet, bread. (Velp 201211)

Pours out in a beautiful hazy reddish amber colour with big white foam. Alcoholic peppery aroma of nuts, toasted malts and anise. Nuts, toasted malts, herbs and alcohol in the full flavour. Warming finish of almonds, herbs, fudge, licorice, grass and alcohol.

Bottled. Deep amberty red colour, not much head. Aroma is alcohol, malts, nectar and some mild spices. Flavour is spices, fruits, some hoppyness and a mild sting of alcohol.
