Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
2 l flip-top syphon bought at the brewpub. Poured in the original 0.5 l Brauhaus seidel an unfiltered slight hazy mahogany or burgundy brown colored Dunkel with a three fingers slight beige foamy head that had a great retention. Active carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, caramel, hay. The flavour is grainy slight roasted malts, dark chocolate, caramel, grassy hops. The mouthfeel is very smooth. This light to medium bodied beer has a strong malty finish. A very decent and pleasant Dunkel from Zwickau, the " Trabant - city " in Saxony.
