Clear yellow with small white foam head. Aroma is malt, that’s it. Taste is a typical Russian pilsener, good when it is warm and the beer is cold. Aftertaste is short. (Moscow 201305)

A paint-by-numbers Russian pale lager but it definitely threw me on the aroma. Anchovies and lemon juice. Strangely fishy and lemony and got metallic as it warmed. Standard clear, pale yellow body with a thin, scummy white head. Flavor was like water that had a twist of lemon in it, subtle grain notes.

Quite nice golden yellow color. Much fast dissapearing foam. Aroma is quite strong with hops, but not bad actually. Taste is a little bit sweetish, with hint to corn? Aftertaste a little bit bitter, but not bad either.

Golden colour, mediumsized foamy white head. Weak, almost inexistable, hayish nose. Flavour is sweet hopyness with metallic hints. Also some perfumed caramel or similar in finish. Unbalanced and rather unclean.

Why do I always buy these Russian lagers when I see them; that, I really don't know but here his my review of this one. Aroma is very typical and showcases corn, grain, rice, brewer's flaked maize as well as some weak malt overtones and wet card board. Appearance is a light, golden yellow in color with a light head on top that is fuzzy and dissipates to a white lacing that coats the glass. Mouthfeel is light-bodied and just plan boring with nothing much to report and a palate that is weak and thin. Flavor is very sweet and very astringent with some metallic grain overtones as well as some maltiness and rice with an aftertaste that is almost overpowering with a finish that is wet-like. Overall, just a crappy lite lager here and is best drank ice cold straight out of the bottle and I am not so sure I will be able to finish this one...
