Bottle. Colour – clear metallic gold, weak white head, lasts, good lacing. Aroma – grassy malts, light yeast, herbal hops, and weak citrus. Mouthfeel – medium bodied with mild carbonation. Flavour – grassy and biscuit malts, yeast flavours present, and a mild bitter finish. Decent for what it is.

pours a orangey straw like apple juice, paler yellow in the light; initial large foamy head, settles to thick surface film; scattered patches of lacing The aroma is pleasantly and distinctly malty, and something a bit like corn. The taste is surprisingly sweet; malt and corn. The mouth feel is medium-bodied, and mild carbonation.

Bottle (green) from local Euro deli. Golden yellow pour, slight white head, not much lacing. Grassy near skunky aroma, still fairly fresh though - not stale, light sweet malts, light lemon zest, some Noble-like hops presence in the nose and palate. Actually very easy to drink and thirst quenching on a hot evening.

Poor at bar in airport. Dark brown, almost black with slightly colored foam. Not sweet probably because of high alcohol. Some chocolate taste. Short sweet aftertaste, nice beer in the afternoon. (Moscow 201204)

It pours a light golden with a thick white head and some lacing. An aroma of barley malts, hops, lemony-citrus, some Eastern European funk, and light spices. The mouthfeel is smooth .. a little thin. Flavors of barley malts, hops, lemon-citrus, some yeast, funk, bitterness. Overall it isn't too good.

Even though the beer came in a green glass bottle, it held up really well and lacked any noticeable skunkage. Aroma has some white wine like-note, cheap dried tobacco and a bit of dirty penny. Flavor was apple-juice, menthol/Vicks vapor rub, light grass and a bit of plastic. Body was light amber in color, cloudy with a scummy white head that started nice, but would up nearly flat. Still, somehow I still enjoyed it.

The bottle i have in front of me is a 5%abv, BB 10/04/10. Pours a pale gold with a medium head. Smells hoppy with some malty hints. Has a typical pilsner taste with some malt and hops to finish it off. Light mouthfeel with medium carbonation and great drinkability.

Pours out in a clear golden colour with rich bubbly white foam. Bready malts, mild floral hops and Kaiser pears in the aroma. Medium to light-bodied with notes of straw, white bread, cardboard, lemon-zest and grass. Mild grassy finish.

It pours out a nice clear coppery amber with a rather thick, slightly off-white head. The head stays for a bit, a point in this beer's favor. Crisp aroma is fairly strong and has a fruity hint. Flavor is crisp and has a surprisingly strong bitter bite, as well as just a hint of sweet fruit. Texture is smooth and tingly, and aftertaste is somewhat bitter but not nastily so. One of the better pilsners I have sampled.
