Zhujiang Cold Draft is a Lager style beer. Lager style beers were developed by German brewers who discovered that aging beer in natural caves after the initial fermentation produced a cleaner beer and made their brews less susceptible to contamination. Golden coloured lagers such as Zhujiang's Cold Draft are typically served cold or at less than 8 or 9 degrees celsius.

This poured a very pale yellow color with a thin amount of lacing that disappeared quite quickly. The aroma was somewhat weak and just a shade skunky. The taste was also weak and watery, but on the other hand, not offensive in any way. To its credit, this was rather smooth and tasty on a hot day.
