A very smooth version of Xbeeriment Black Force One with complex notes of maple syrup and oranges from the Bourbon blending in with the roastiness and hoppiness of the imperial stout. An extremely complex beer. Only 375 bottles made.

    22oz bottle -

The beer pours out a black body, brown creamy head. Aroma has equal parts caramel, bourbon, wood, and spices. A mingling of flavors that really meld well with the residual sweetness left. Bourbon, wood, roasted malts, vanilla and alcohol all nicely balanced. Finish has a nice showing of bourbon and wood, slightly astringent too.

Shared bottle at local tasting. Bottle No. 49 out of 374 made. 10.4% ABV, 98 IBU. Pitch black colour, large to moderate tan head. Lovely aroma of bourbon cask, vanilla, coffee and chocolate. Excellent flavour, same elements as the aroma, but even more harmonious and well balanced.
