12 oz can. Pours hazy golden yellow with a medium frothy white head that goes to a thin film and leaves some lacing.
The aroma is fresh chile peppers (Anaheim?).
The flavor is some sweet malts with chile flavor. It's got a little heat but is pretty mild. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a solid mild chile beer. Good flavor, but not a lot of heat. -

sampler. light gold color and light bodied. light head and no lacing. light smell of chili, and very strong taste of spices. was worried to try this, and my assumptions were right on - nothing I can even appreciate, yet try again.

Sampler. Have to preface this with the fact I hate chili beers. Clear yellow with a white head. Spicy aroma as expected. Flavor is hot and spicy as well, but not over the top. Would not go out of my way for this one.

Pale yellow in color and flavored with Annaheim and Pablano chilies. The pepper flavor is clearly detectable but not at all overpowering. Would be perfect with Tamales or Chili Relleno. Well-done.
