500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 4.2%. Clear deep golden colour, small white head. Sugary aroma of soda / pop, sweetish malts and ginger. Moderate carbonation. The flavour is way too sweet and soda-like - what is the point? The nice ginger burn in the finish can't save this beer from the "won't buy again" category.

This brings back memories of the ginger ale my granny used to make around Christmas time, when I was a kid. (Non alcoholic of course). I enjoyed it back then as a pop. This as a beer, not so much. Gave it 7 for flavour because of the memories.

Single brown bottle at the LCBO. Pours a clean golden-amber colour with a soapy white head, decent retention but not much lace. Smells like mild ginger ale. Oh yukk... way too syrupy like pop. The taste is too sweet (not sure why they added sugar to this one - ginger is good on its own). A little spicy ginger root taste, but not enjoying the sweetness with it. Hints of citrus. Not much that resembles to beer and too close to pop. Had better ginger beer than this recently.

The beer pours a translucent reddish-gold with a thin tan ring for a head. Aroma is grainy malt, ginger, and light hops. Mouthfeel is light bodied, with high carbonation. Flavour is a British bitter crossed with Ginger Ale but got more beery as it warmed up. Heavy on the ginger and the spice. Not something I would try again.
