We’ve been getting some nice flowers popping up here in northern AZ, spring in the air and a nice wheat heavy refreshing 10% abv Wally TIPA to accompany. We exclusively used a combo of malted white wheat and @grainrandd raw Sonoran & Blue Beard. This lends such a big hoppy beer to focus more on the lighter drinkable end of the Wally TIPA spectrum. Mosaic & Nelson in the whirlpool. Dry hopped with Mandarina Bavaria, Simcoe, Citra, and Amarillo. Bright hops for a nice easy drinking TIPA!

Rated May 2021. Pint can pours with a hazy opaque gold copper body that supports a lasting white head of foam. The aroma offers up cantaloupe, pineapple and then a bit of orange like citrus and floral hops. The taste delivers fluffy soft sweet juicy warm pineapple that's a little over the top and then followed by a blend of cantaloupe and mango tropical hoppiness. To midway and into the finish is devolves into basically boozy pineapple just as the floral hoppiness surfaces and attempts to balance out the sweetness. This is pretty good but the hop bill isn't in my wheel house.
