Introducing SONORASAURUS, a 8% DIPA... A brand new DIPA made to highlight the most recent lot of Freestyle Hop Farms Nelson. Something a little smoother, refined in a way to simply showcase the hops and leave a nice light creamy body in the background. Brewed with AZ grown @sinaguamalt barley & @grainrandd raw blue beard durum, as well as some flaked oats. @billygoathopfarms extra tropical Crystal in the whirlpool. Fermented cool with English yeast. Then double dry hopped with Nelson & a bit of Mosaic. We highly recommend smelling this beer for what might seem longer than normal. Really get your noise in there. Mmm white grape tannins, fresh raspberry, summer vacation in Coronado.

Rated Feb. 2021. Pint can pours with a murky opaque dull gold copper body that supports a full dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up orange and tangelo citrus hops followed by a thin raspberry like sensation. The taste delivers smooth soft sweet mango and guava quickly giving way to a growing juicy citrus arrangement of orange, tangelo and a bit of tangy tangerine. This achieves a pleasing balance of juicy tropical and more bitter citrus hoppiness. This is nice with really no sense of the ABV.
