Sleepy Whale anniversary DIPA collab!! These guys crush it with their Downtown Chandler taproom & we are super stoked to have them in the AZ beer industry. This one is oat heavy. Just pils malt, way too much flaked oats, and a bit of blue beard durum wheat. We focused on a bright whirlpool addition of Amarillo & Strata. Fermented real quick and then dry hopped aggressively and exclusively with 2020 Nelson & Strata hops. It’s big hop saturated DIPA with aroma of peach, strawberry candies, crispy cobbler topping. Oats lend to a very nice creaminess that is a comfortable constant throughout the drinking experience. 8%. Happy anniversary friends, here’s a DIPA.
