Highway Vacay is a big, juicy Triple IPA we brewed up with our good California friends from Mumford and Pure Project. We used a pils malt base with some special Hayden Flour Mills Red Fife Wheat and Blue Beard Durum Wheat to create an incredibly rich and smooth body. We then double dry hopped this beer with Cashmere, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin hops resulting in a gorgeous tropical white wine characteristic full of coconut and mangos. The high hopping rates yielded a smaller batch of delicious IPA nectar.

Rated July 2018. Pint can pours with a with a hazy copper gold body that supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up pineapple, guava, papaya and cantaloupe. Front to back tropical juiciness. The taste delivers smooth nearly soft notes of cantaloupe, guava and then thin papaya and pineapple. It gets a little more juicy as a modest level of booziness sets in toward the finish. Solid.
