Moon Flower is a 5.6% semi-small wheat IPA, but don’t be fooled, this lil guy has huge flavor. Brewed with North American Pale & Pils malts as well as flaked white wheat. Whirlpool hopped with subtle amounts of Galaxy to build a nice tropical base. We then dry hopped at a rate of 3.6lb/bbl utilizing equal amounts of Vic Secret, Mosaic, and Mandarina Bavaria.

Rated Dec. 2018. Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a murky opaque dull pappery gold body that supports a thin white head that leaves behind spotty clumpy lacing. The aroma offers up a load of inviting tropical fruitiness with papaya, mango and guava with a sense of strawberry in the background. The taste delivers punchy modestly bright notes of tangy tangerine, mango, bitter grapefruit and then more mango mixed with guava to midway. It picks up thin strawberry from time to time. Really nice refreshing bitter hop forward brew.
