As IPA producers go, our collaborators at Mcilhenney Brewing are the top of the line. For years they’ve made extremely dynamic, balanced, full-flavored beers; no doubt due to their selection of proper ingredients and the processes that allow those ingredients to be showcased in full. For McAlpine IPA, Pat brought us some wonderfully on point Nelson Sauvin, NZ Cascade, and Simcoe that we paired with Columbus and Mosaic Cryo. This well-balanced Hazy IPA offers moderate bitterness and absolutely pops with lime zest, honeydew, and tropical white wine that melts into a balanced and dry finish. We’re fortunate to have had Pat come out to lend a hand and expertise and make a really incredible beer in the process. We hope you enjoy this unique New Zealand and American Hazy IPA as much as we enjoyed putting it together one sunny morning. Cheers to the water!
