Good Girl Pearl is the latest in our series of high ABV + high hopping rate triple IPA’s. We brewed this one with @wanderingtortoise16 & their mini golden doodle Pearl for their 2 year anniversary! Congrats friends, this ones for you. Brewed with Pils & Pale malt, @grainrandd malted Sonoran white wheat, flaked white wheat and flaked oats. Hopped delicately in the whirlpool with Citra cryo, Loral cryo, and Amarillo. Then dry hopped towards the end of fermentation with Nelson, Citra cryo, Cashmere, Cascade, Loral cryo, and Amarillo at a rate of 6lb/bbl. Fermented with our house British ale yeast.

Rated Jan. 2019. Pint can pours with a totally opaque deep dull straw gold body that supports a light tan head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up tangy tropical notes like guava, mango as well as peach and apricot. The taste delivers near intense notes of tangy juicy guava, mango and papaya getting into tangerine, lime and cantaloupe (?). Wow. Rich deep and somewhat intense to the point of sharp tanginess providing a minor counter to the sweet soft juiciness.
