The first hazy TIPA we ever made and kicked off a super fun series of Wally beers allowing us to experiment using ultra high hopping rates paired with a high ABV beer to balance it out. Just over 10% ABV on this one. Brewed with pils malt, pale malt, flaked oats & flaked wheat. A touch of Columbus with heavy Citra and Mosaic additions in the whirlpool. We then dry-hopped it at a rate triple what we normally do for hazy IPAs. Those dry hops include Mosaic, Nelson, and Mandarina Bavaria. A beautiful flavor combination of dank tropical guava/pineapple/tangerine with a nice overtone of cherry & blackberry.

Rated Nov. 2017. Pint can, thanks Jon . . . and Wally, pours with a murky dull papery gold dirty straw body that supports an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up mango, warm pineapple, guava and hot cantaloupe. The taste delivers a blend of bitter grapefruit and warm pineapple with mildly boozy cantaloupe, mango and guava. The bitter hops pick up a grassy and almost resiny sensation into the finish. Nice.
