Introducing EXPENSIVE PILLOWS, a 8% DIPA... EXPENSIVE PILLOWS. A DDH Double IPA that utilized GENEROUS amounts of both Amarillo and Motueka hops. This little number certainly doesn't lack in the juiciness department. Big aromas of tropical Starburst followed up by very present notes of melon and tangerine on the palate. The grain bill results in a mouthfeel that is soft and luxurious. Kind of like... well, expensive pillows.

Rated Feb. 2021. Pint can pours with a murky opaque dull gold colored body that supports a lasting white head of foam. The aroma offers up cantaloupe and mango running slowly into tangerine and orange. The taste delivers soft sweet juicy cantaloupe and mango rimmed thinly by tangy and mildly bitter hop citrus juiciness. Unfortunately it becomes a little sweeter toward the finish as it picks up more sweet cantaloupe and a sense of honeydew. This runs up and slightly over the overly sweet line in the sand. Pretty nice but could be a tangier and or more bitter by a bit to provide more balance.
