Our latest in our 100% Superstition Mead BA series is here. This time with a slightly beefed up Who Hit John base (imperial porter). We aged this WHJ base for 12 months in barrels that initially aged Buffalo Trace whiskey, then held bottle logic stout, before finally being filled with Superstition Grand Cru Berry mead for an extended time. The combination of rich roasty imperial porter & berry jam oak has quickly become a favorite of ours. This execution is no exception. Chocolate, blueberry, light oak tannin, sweet jamminess, strong but so drinkabl

Pours coffee sable with a thin tan head. Aroma yields roast malt, chocolate, coffee, toffee. Flavor brings chocolate, roast malt, coffee and toffee. Texture produces decent body & peppy fizz. Head down the Devil's Highway.
