PERPETUAL PROCRASTINATION is our collaboration DDH Double IPA that we conjured up with the fine folks at Cerebral Brewing out of Denver, CO. This beer is built around an oddly complex grain bill that we felt would highlight some often overlooked characteristics in these types of beers. Heritage Weyermann Barke Pils? Yep. Slightly toasted CARAHELL dextrin malt? Oh yes. A ton of Grain R&D malted white wheat for good measure? Why not. We then doubled the dry hop amount to over 6lbs/bbl with a bunch of fresh Australian grown Ella & a good bit of Idaho 7.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Pint can pours with a murky opaque dull papery gold colored body that supports a full frothy light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up mango, guava, a hit of papaya and tangerine. The taste delivers fairly bright slightly mineral nuanced juicy mango, guava and growing grapefruit zest bitterness. Yep. Juicy, tangy and bitter but a little on the bright side and a mild sense of mineral notes distracts just a bit.
