Strong, crisp, fruity aroma promises a good hard cider. Pours a clear straw yellow - hardly any head, but this is cider, not beer. Fruity, rather sweet flavor is what one expects from a cider, not complex but enjoyable. Texture has expected firmness and fizz. Have it on tap - tap - tap. ;)

A bright clear lazt yellow colored brew. An a head. A very small amalgamation of bubbles. I think this is the first cider I’v had wiso pronounced a head. A thin ringlet of bubbles is left behind. And a very light, spotty film is on the sides. There’s a smoothness on the palate. A light crispness. A subtle nose of tart-sweet apples. Clean sipping of sweet apple. Not bad.

This cider poured a clear yellow color. The aroma was overly yeasty with flavors of grapes, apples, and melon. There was too much lees on the palate and not a dominate flavor.

Nice aroma of apples and a very pale yellow pour. A slight bitter on the finish, bu tnot too bad. An ok cider, but not so good as Woodchuck or Scrumpey's. Still a decently refreshing easy drink.

had the 4.2 US version...Pours a very light white yellow...some head but has some small red 'peel' pieces floating, this is a no-no for any beer/cider!..but as i get into a couple of these beers the timidness shy's away to a easy drinking tame refreshing cider! ...It has a very subdued flavour to go along with its very mild monkeyrisims (bitterness)..I like the fact that it really isn't an in-your-face kind of drink! Smooth, calm, tasty... enjoyable in the end!

This cider is very good tasting. Immediately I noticed the golden yellow color and aroma of apples. Very thin body and not much else to it. Overall a good drink to have every once in a while.

Decent cider here but much better on draft if you can find it. The aroma is very aromatic and sweet with tons of apple coming through as well as some cinnamon. The appearance is an extremely, pale yellow to almost clear with a stringy head on top that is white in color and discipates. The mouthfeel is airy and very light-bodied with sweet complexity. The flavor is sweet and of sour apple and perfume and very tasty given the sweetness of it. Overall, probably a decent cider here and it is good but I only can stomach one or two.

Compared to other ciders Woodpecker has a slightly watery taste, but it is a light beverage that a begining drinker would like. It has a slight apple flavor and is mildly sweet.

It is indeed a little dry... but the flavor is great, not artifical at all, and the aftertaste is perfect with just the right amount of sweet. Not very full-bodied (the reason I like ciders- light and good for drinking in large quantities). My only real complaint is that it is too pricey.

My neighbor left for Hawaii for the winter so it's time to look after the house. I was told to empty the fridge so I proceeded and discoverd a few bottles of these in there. What the heck I'll try it I said so here I am. I'm not a big cider fan to begin with but they can be decent from time to time. My biggest concern is that they are always too sweet for my taste. Well this one is an exception. Pours a clear pale yellow/white hue with little carbonation and no head. Smells slightly sweet. The taste is mildly sweet and fairly dry which is a nice feature in my opinion. This cider is awfully close to a white wine and I probably should pour the rest into a wine glass in lieu of the pint glass I'm using now. Anyway not my cup of tea but a solid hard cider I suppose.
