Courtesy of Gillard. Pours deep gold with slight haze and white head. The aroma is somewhat tart with undercurrents of sweet apples, some malt sweetness and then earthiness riding along. The carbonation explosion brings malt sweetness, apples and an increasing tartness up to and out of proportion. Midway some grainy malts surface to help out. Into the finish it dries out with more tartness. Not my favorite mix of flavors here.
