Coast West Double IPA is a drift over to the other coast’s IPA style. We combined the soft and juicy elements of an East Coast IPA with a traditional West Coast yeast and a piney, resinous hop bill.

Pours slightly hazy topaz with a thick, frothy and persistent parchment head that leaves fair lacing. Aroma supplies resiny hops, tangy and sweet citrus - mainly orange - plus fresh malt and a tropical hint. Flavor provides piney and slightly bitter hops, more woody than resiny, as well as tangy, tart and sweet orange and grapefruit with fresh malt and tropical sweetness. Texture delivers lively fizz and good body, and a sweet fruity and slightly hoppy finish. Coast west, young man. Or woman. Or not-so-young whatever, as long as you love beer.
