Out for Black Friday? Capricious Wild IPA with mango is now available at The Brewpub and The Funkatorium. The flavor in this beer is driven by the marriage between Amarillo and mango. Huge citrus notes from the hops are balanced out by a slight sweetness from the mango. This full bodied beer is effervescent with a dry, pithy finish. A lingering orange and mild bitterness favor makes you keep coming back for more.

Pours hazy apricot with a thin eggshell head. Hoppy aroma has a decided mango overtone. Flavor is more at a sour ale tan an IPA, but enjoyable - hops do manage to peek through sour tropical fruit. Firm texture is fairly smooth, leaving a sour mango finish. Not much in the way of hops, but definitely wild - and capricious.
