The Jacked Rabbit is a rare and local rabbit breed. Renowned for its endless energy, it has been said to be nearly impossible to catch. This hoppy creature survives on a diet of fine espresso, which has been cold-steeped for 16 hours. So distinguished is the Jacked Rabbit that it sources its espresso requirements from the local Madawaska Coffee Company. 2016 ABV: 6.5% 2017 ABV: 7.2%

Part of their 4-pack Winter Collection... from last year. Fairly clean golden-amber colour with a frothy-creamy warm cap that stays quite a long time and leaves creamy-foam lacing. Grassy hop aromas reminding me of West Coast-style, with a touch of grind coffee and some raisins. The taste is a nice blend of the hop grassiness and light espresso. The mouthfeel is a nice crisp-turned-into-dry-finish, with a tad tartiness from the coffee grinds. Was not sure what to expect, but it does work well and goes down nicely.

On tap at Arrow and Loon. Pours a fairly thick and frothy beige head and has a hazy amber coppery appearance. Thick dirty lacing. Flavours are bready malts, biscuits, quite hoppy in the finish. Sweet and the coffee notes are somewhat faint but still noticeable. Full bodied mouthfeel. Quite enjoyable nonetheless.
