The beer pours an opaque black with a creamy tan head that lasts but leaves little lacing. The aroma is hazel nuts, roasted malt, and weak coffee hints. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is heavy on the roasted malt and hazelnut flavours, with little else.

Clean copper brown colour with some ruby highlights. Beige frothy, bubbly head with average retention and some minimal lacing. With the nutty nose and chocolate malts, it does smell like the Imperial City Peanut Butter Chocolate Milk beer I just did earlier. The mouthfeel is fairly thin, and some dryness in the end. Chocolate malt taste with some nuttiness and grassy hops in the finish. Not bad, but was expecting a little more. A tad unbalanced all-around.
