Taps translucent chocolate with a good buttermilk head. Aroma yields chocolate, roast malt, resiny hops. Flavor brings out the hops more - piney but barely bitter, along with notes of chocolate, roast malt and char. Texture furnishes fair body and peppy fizz. Gotta love black IPAs.
