OK, we know there aren’t any woolly mammoths in Whistler, but this is one really old recipe… dating way back to 1989, when we first started business. To date, we have won 2 World Awards for this dark, English-style mild ale. You can expect a mild bitterness with notes of chocolate and roasted coffee, and a very clean finish. Oh, and Black Tusk Ale is named for a famous local landmark – the jet black core of a now-extinct volcano. A must-see when you next come to Whistler. Pair it with: • Chocolate desserts • Vinaigrette topped salads • Spicy dishes Black Tusk Ale is a seasonal beer, available only from October – April. Alcohol Content: 5.0%

I must hate my self tonight for I have chosen a Whistler beer to review. Dark brown with a spotty film floating on top...... looks sad. Aroma is bad strong coffee that has been sitting in the pot way to long, some peanuts and all combined with hidden hops. Feels so dry..... almost like the way diet coke feels (not tastes) Taste is better but is some how held back, coffee, nuts, and I want to say cherry soda but I know that's wrong. 5-2 the OILERS are crushing the flames....SUCK IT GLENCROSS!!! Is there a decent Whistler beer to drink? only time and the rest of this mix pack can tell.

An airport beer. Dark body, essentially no head. Mild aroma, some dark chocolate and malt. Decent flavour, much like the aroma. Better than average mouth.
