Malzmischung : Weyermann Böhmisches Tennenmalz Pilsner Art 95 %, Weyermann Carabohemian 3 %, Weyermann Spezial W 2 %. Hopfen : Herkules, Saazer. Hefeemphelung : Fermentis Saftlager W 34/70.

    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

500 ml swing-top bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Weyermann tumbler an unfiltered and opaque dark amber-red copper coloured D B with a two fingers, dense, light soapy and beige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Lovely carbonation. Some floating sediments. Good lacing. The aroma is powerful malty, juicy fruits, oranges, strawberries, notes of caramel and alcohol and a barnyard touch. The flavour is sweety malts, caramel, fruity, oranges, mandarins, sweety raisins and a pronounced alcoholic feeling. The mouthfeel is fulled, thick and alcoholic fruits. The texture is oily. This fulled D B has a long fruity and alcoholic finish. A well flavoured and convincing Doppel Bock from the small but high-tech Bamberger Braumanufaktur.
