When we set out to craft our perfect IPA, we knew we had to use the best varietals available and lots of them. We use more than 3 pounds of hops per barrel in our IPA with Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo, El Dorado and Simcoe lending a huge, juicy, bright citrus hop flavor and aroma. The dry finish and restrained bitterness help accentuate the hop character without overpowering it, creating a surprisingly drinkable beer considering the higher alcohol and overwhelming amount of hops used.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8

32 oz crowler. Pours clear golden copper with a huge bubbly creamy off white head that retains well and laces the glass some .

The aroma is fruity malts and spicy piney resiny hops.

The flavor is sweet bready malt with some tropical fruit and lots of resiny piney hops - very well balanced. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low but smooth carbonation.

Overall, an excellent IPA. I remember it being fruitier on draft, although more fruit does come out as the beer sits.
