A strange metallic bitterness makes this hyped lager no favourite of mine.

Can. Colour – light gold, white cap, frothy, not a lot of effervescence. Aroma – grassy malts, light floral hops, weak yeast. Mouthfeel – medium bodied, medium carbonation, very crisp. Flavour – typical German pils…..grainy malt shines through and noble hops back it up.

ok..when I was Over there this brew was not on the radar, as it was just another Pils...ah so much better there was. Now 2017...and 12 miles down the road, for $9 with tax I can buy sixers of Warsteiner...at the local bar..the new GO TO Brew!! no nasty ipa, fosteeeers...this has a malty nose, damn nice body, GREAT flavor..low alcohol at 4.8 but damn good every day brew. A bit like Bitt and not as good as the now gone Spatan Pils, but for old Snake View its THE BREW!!! (reason for the 7 overall..its not great bud damn good)

Pours a typical clear yellow amber with a thin white head. Aroma is crisp and malty with fruity undertone. Malty flavor has subtle notes of pear and banana. Texture has average viscosity and not much fizz. Average, but pleasing and refreshing. Good for a party.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle. Aroma- caught a whiff of hops and maybe a floral backdrop. Appearance- A nice golden yellow color, clear with a lot of carbonation bubbles, nice white head. Taste- A nice robust bitter bite that was not overwhelming. A good flavor. Palate- Medium bodied with a good level of carbonation. Overall- not a bad beer, better than Beck’s and St. Pauli Girl

Very clear, very light yellow, nice foam head. High CO2, very much a German beer. Think it is somewhat overrated, do not agree with this beer being the queen amongst beers. Good bitter. (Rheden 201109

A bready, crisply hopped, though still malt-dominated pilsner. OK, but has no one aspect that stands out at all. Thoroughly average, maybe juuust under for a thin prickly feel, but refreshing enough as a summer brew.

pours surprisingly pale, surprisingly little head, and no noticeable lacing. The aroma has strong elements of bread, hay, honey, malt. The taste is a bit sweeter than most pilsners, but not sticky or overpowering. Well balanced with the floral hoppiness that is reminiscent of fresh honey. Extremely pleasant all-around. The mouthfeel is thinner than most pilsners, and is crisp and refreshing.

A golden colored beer with a small foamy white head. Not much hang time on the head. Not much lacuing, just a thin ringlet. The profile is grassy with some bready malts. Drinkable. Just no WOW factor

Pale golden colour. Very refreshing and thirst quenching. Aroma of fruity hops and malts. Fresh to drink with a hoppy flavour to it wich is fresh and bitter, bit like lime. Looks classic when poured into it's original glass.

Very clear white gold color with a super white head that wasn't too thick an ddidn't stick around too long. Few bubbles coming up from the bottom. Minimal lacing. Very clean grassy or grain aroma. A minimal floral hop note and seems well balanced with the other aromas. In the taste I'm experiencing some hop bite, a "wheaty", "grassy" malt and hints of corn. I have trouble detecting all of the flavors of German brews. I haven't experienced enough of the them to pick out all the subtleties. Forgive my ignorance. Medium to thin mouthfeel. Rather refreshing and smooth. Crisp and somewhat dry. Flavor hangs on the palate for a split second. This is an easily drinkable brew. Would be nice for Spring and early Summer in my opinion. I just need more exposure to German beers to truly appreciate them. Other than that, I enjoyed it.
