Heavily hopped ale has a distinctive smooth bitterness. Slightly malty in character with an assertive aroma and bouquet that comes only from dry hopping Hmmm.... this one is really strong! This beer was named after the famous explorer, Captain Cook, who first landed in Hawaii on the island of Kauai near Waimea in 1786. He was hapai'ing (carrying) with him barrels of his finest IPA.
