We like to mix it up. New flavors, new ideas, new ingredients; we welcome them all. In celebration of our penchant for prolific experimentation, we present Moving Parts: The Ever-Evolving IPA. Each release in this series (every four months) celebrates a tweaked ingredient or two, creating an endless array of possible flavor profiles. For us, Moving Parts are a good thing! Composition Malt: Pilsner, Medium Crystal, Pale Crystal, CaraPils Hops: Styrian Goldings, EKG, Bramling Cross ABV: 6.4% Flavor A pleasantly sharp sweetness from the crystal malt precedes herbal notes of cedar and green tea. The bright hop flavors in this light copper ale are distinctly English to start, finishing with lingering aromas of earthy hops.

Pours a clear dark amber with a thick and mostly fine-bubbled pale buff head. Aroma is not strong, but promises with citrus and hoppy tones. Flavor is sharply hoppy, mostly woody, scarcely bitter, slightly sweet and malty - a very drinkable IPA. Firm texture is quite lively, leaving a strong and woody hop finish. Get moving and grab it while you can!

Hazy light copper colour pour.Head disperses to a thin cap which remains to the end. Not much lacing. Aroma is sweet and light fruits. The description plus lemon is bang on, although it does have an odd aftertaste. It's different, quite sweet and not very bitter. Maybe # 3 will be better.
