A classic, well balanced ESB brewed with traditional East Kent Golding and Fuggles hops. There is a big, fierce earthy hop bite complemeted by a well rounded, flavorful and malty body. A very bright beer with a rich, deep amber appearance. A Pub favorite for over 18 years!

Sampled at the brewpub. Golden-copper colour with foamy lace. Lacking fruit malt, just plain hoppy. Sour tasting with mild bitterness. The best balance here is the mouthfeel, between dry and wet. Lease favorite beer here, not as well blended. Becomes a little better with time.

Pours with an amber body topped by a thick off white head with lots of lace. Slightly sweet malty aroma with a good hop balance and a touch of bitterness. Slightly sweet yet bitter flavor with a good balance of malt and hops. Medium bodied and smooth. Finally a halfway decent offering from this brewpub.
