With its 7.0% alcohol by volume, Vampire Pale Ale is somewhat higher in alcohol content than regular ales, but it’s not overpowering like the name might suggest. Instead its alluring color and aroma envelop the ever-present hops and fruity esters that leads you craving for more and more. Like all living ales, Vampire Pale Ale will continue to improve with age

I can see why this has been on clearance at the local retailers. Decent to try as a Belgian import...has the Belgian flavor and feel, etc. But, in the end it's really just about average at best for the style. I prefer a good APA. Some floral notes in the flavor, with a smooth and bubbly feel. Cloudy medium yellow appearance with some light orange. Refreshing and the ABV% is nice, but a forgettable brew.

From the Hootenanny. Golden blonde pour, big fluffy head, decent lacing. Aromas of light Belgian yeasts, spices, slight bubble gum, floral hops. Flavor follows the nose, lightly, with a nice decently clean taste. Typical but refreshing.
