500 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Ustersbacher Bavarian Seidla a clear and mahogany with reddish tones coloured Dunkel with a good one finger beige foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. No lacing. The aroma is powerful toasted malts, bready, caramel and fruity notes, plums. The flavour is toasted and caramel malts, grainy, dried fruits, nuts and raisins, fruits, plums and dark berries. The mouthfeel is light crispy, sweety, even a bit sticky. The texture is oily. This medium bodied Dunkel has a dry malty finish. A decent Dunkel from the Augsburger aera but wihtout fun !
