The Painted Ladies Annual Fling celebrates the renaissance of downtown Lake Mills. Although named for the restoration of the many Victorian storefronts, some of the more adventurous women-folk added a playful twist and dressed as, well, painted ladies. Inspired by these bold and spicy women, we brewed Painted Ladies, a pumpkin and spice-infused amber ale. This fall, make sure you enjoy a fling with a few Painted Ladies.

A neat name for a beer with a neat label. The contents of the bottle is pretty damned good as well. An orange-gold pour with an off-white head. The aromas leaving the pouring stream of beer leave no doubt as to what this beer is...pumpkin. Great flavouring without it being overspiced, especially for a 7.5% beer.

On tap @ Tyranena Brewing Co. on visit with pfoxyjohn and phishpond. Nice amber brownish pour with ample creamy head and good lacing. Spiced pumpkin pie aroma that is not overpowering. Taste is same as the aroma with a slight sweetness that is very satisfying. Good way to start off my visit to Tyranena.

Tried this as part of a beer tasting with friends. As pumpkin beers go it was better than most. There was a good amount of spicy, decent carbonation and it was a good looking brew. I could see this pairing up well with a turkey sandwich.

OK so this was a great bier. Super tastey, spicey and fruity all the way through. A orangeish mahogany colour with a nose full of spice. Pumpkin and cloves on the palate with generous apple pie and other spices all the way through. Super happy tyranena produced such a gem for this fall!
