Bottle courtesy of Monger: Poured a clear deep copper color ale with a medium foamy head with good retention and some great lacing. Aroma of sweet malt with some hints of brandy. Taste is dominated by some sweet malt with some nice touch of brandy without any alcohol being noticeable. I thought it resemble more of a barley wine then a brown ale but very good nonetheless. Body is a bit light with good carbonation and no alcohol. Interesting beer from an interesting brewer that I am just discovering.

Slightly opaque dark amber pour with a nice head and lacing that stays in the glass. This broad smells strongly of brandy and for good reason. She was born in an oak brandy cask. The alcohol and smoky brandy flavor is very predominant. This would make a wonderful drink by the fire on a cold winter night.

Thanks to bbb63 for this brew. What hits you initially is the brandy barrel agiing and how it dominates the nose. It pours dark brown. The body is medium with a roasty flavor highlighted with brandy sweetness

Drinking a bottle that was born only yesterday! Deep copper-tinged brown hue with an abundant ecru head and persistent lacing. Fragrance is strong brandy and toasted malt. Mouthfeel is warm and smooth. Alcohol's a little in the front, but the brandy casked flavor is pleasant and dominant. A tasty novelty item, but I probably won't drink multiple bottles in any one session.
