This artisan beer is in celebration of the end of the hop harvest. Tons of fresh, wet hops from Washington state power through this stepped up version of our seasonal IPA.

I have been a big fan of Two Brothers for awhile now and as I was shopping for beer to bring to a family Christmas gathering I ended up running across a Jeroboam of this sitting on the shelf at the local Binny's. I was going to be spending some good money anyway, so the $65 price tag didn't dissuade me from the purchase. I also hadn't seen this particular beer before and it was the only bottle in the store; that coupled with the novelty of a gigantic beer bottle meant it had to be in my cart. Very similar to the regular version of their seasonal IPA but with more hops - way more. Almost chewy with them in the mouthfeel - very thick, the kind of beer that leaves a coat on your tongue for a couple hours. (in a good way) Cloudy amber coloring with a dense, rocky head. Aroma is obviously very hoppy and can be picked up from across the room. If you like hop bombs then you will like this beer, but finding it might be difficult - either on tap at the brewhouse or buying a mammoth bottle to share with friends and family. I will say that it was a great conversation piece and the number of people sending pictures on their phones to friends as they posed with the bottle was funny. Usually coupled with the quote "I only had one beer..."
