not sure how to score this one. it was a huge beer, for starters. thick, sticky, sweet...but also bitter enough to get you right in the jaw. i think i sprouted some new chest hairs while drinking this monster. a little too overboard with the aggressiveness on all sides, but also a unique beer I'd have again.

22oz bottle. Pours a clear orange amber with a smallish frothy white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is some sweet bready caramel malt with a little fruit (slightly rotten) and some soapy minty hops.
The flavor is sweet burnt caramel malts with some off tasting fruit and buttered popcorn that leads to a big bitter finish that lingers in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, not a very good DIPA. There's lots of bitterness, but lots of off-notes too. -

Nice fruity citrus aroma with a noticeable malt presence, Deep hazy orange body o.k. head with some lace. Flavor was dominated by a sweet maltiness with the hops floating in and out. Overall it is not an upper tier IIPA, but if you enjoy sweet IIPA's its decent enough.

fuck man, i've avoided all the regular twisted pine stuff and tried this just to empty the shelves so i can get to try their espresso stout, and i am quite disappointed! .. . pours a light ruby tan brown, with decent head but no lacing .. . the airplane spoiler doesn't work .. . quite sweet, 107 ibu's my ass, quite messy .. . does hide the abv quite well, for 10.5 that is .. . anyone ever play POG's?? .. . for the price, this really doesn't do it, no real hop flavour, confusing cloying aftertaste, and just not that enjoyable.. .
