The wildly acclaimed new Billy’s Chilies beer is made with fresh anaheim, fresno, serrano, jalapeno and habanero peppers. It has an aroma that jumps out of the bottle, followed by a mild yet insanely satisfying flavor and a pleasant finish. “I made it for Cinquo de Mayo a couple of years ago and again this year for the Great American Beer Festival, and people loved it,” said Twisted Pine brewer Billy Phillips.

Lifeless clear goldend yellow pour, head goes away and doesn't return. Light aroma, some chilies can be noticed alongside a grassy profile. Nice mild pepper burn that sticks around, but never becomes overdone. Light bodied in the malt department. Spicy chili heat, flavor is in line with the aroma.

Pours a lifeless gold .. . amazing pure aroma of peppers .. . light to medium heat, burns my gums a bit .. . very well done chilli beer .. . Hey, hey, hey there, sleepy head. I made you breakfast. I hope you like it crispy, 'cause it is burned.

A burnt golden colored beer. A small foamy textured, white head rises briefly above. It settles fairly quickly. No lacing is left behind. In the nose and in the tasting EVERYTHING about this beer is green chilies, poblano, jalapeno. Really well crafted in a light body.

huge pepper aroma hits you as soon as the top is popped. looks like a cloudyish macro lager. the taste is ok at first...lots of chilies but the beer underneath never makes an appearance, and it isn't very spicy, but burns the throat on the way down. cool as a novelty and smells great if you like peppers, but the drinkability s super low. glad i shared the bottle. cool concept that needs to be toned down a bit.

Great to be the first one here. Pours as an average lager - golden, no head and light lacing. Aroma of malts, and largely dominated by the peppers, has a sweet smell to it - like jalapenos. The mouthfeel is smooth and full-bodied. Flavors of chiles/peppers, malts, citrus, hops (although hard to tell b/c of peppers), and spices. This is great for being a chile-beer, I usually can't stand these, but this is blended well.
