Norse IPA: We wanted to make something special with this IPA. Kveik yeast is a very interesting strain originating from the farmstead breweries of Norway. Unusual in that it ferments very warm and fast and accentuates tropical flavors and aromas. To go along with the theme we followed the ancient traditions of Scandinavian brewers adding juniper branches and spruce tips. Brewed a bit more on the malty side with a range of local Riverbend malt and we finished if off with a big helping of Citra Cryo and Lotus hops

Taps hazy topaz with a good parchment head. Aroma features resiny hops, citrus, subtle tropical tones. Flavor presents piney hops, zesty citry, subtle sweet tropical. Texture gives nice body and peppy fizz. Glory to my 10,000th check-in on Untappd!
