An abundance of spicy, piney and citrus hops dominate the nose and flavor here. Medium malt body yields to a resinous hop finish.

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
Comes out of the tap a clear, beautiful honey golden - not much head, but that must be an artifact of the pour. Aroma is robustly hoppy with an undertone of fruit, both citrus and pomme, and a sweet hint. Hearty flavor is very hoppy but only a little bitter; notes of fruit and malt and a little sweetness come through. Lively, edgy texture has plenty of body, more than most IPAs I have sampled. Mark this twain - the brewers can make a Clemens that this is a darned good IPA.

A copper color with a white head. Aroma has some citrus, caramel, herbal notes. The flavor is somewhat bitter with some major herbal notes. The finish has a pine, citrus, and plant bite. Overall this is ok.
