This Roasted Rye India Black Ale is jet-black with a medium body. The Citra and Amarillo dry hops shine through the roasty malts, offering a tropical fruit aroma. Balanced in flavor by the use of rye.

Comes out of the tap a beautiful, opaque black-coffee brown with a nice light tan head. Hearty aroma has strong notes of quality coffee and roast malty with hoppy and subtle rye and molasses notes in the mix. Scrumptious flavor has tones of roast malt, rye, burnt hops, licorice, coffee, molasses and just a touch of horehound. Firm and fizzy body and a smoky finish complete a very pleasant drinking experience. You won’t get a black eye enjoying (or recommending) this one!
