While brewing our River Sunset Amber, we realized that one of our specialty malts must have been darker than usual when we started filling the kettle and it was a lovely brown hue instead of amber. So, on the fly, we picked ourselves up by our bootstraps, changed the recipe, and made this delicious and balanced brown ale. Enjoy!

Taps clear brownish with a thin but serviceable eggshell head. Aroma features notes of roast malt and caramel with a hint of cinnamon. Flavor delivers lightly roasted malt, clove, cinnamon and toasted hop character. Body is typical, as is fizz. More than barely enjoyable!
