Clear dark yellow, white frothy lacing foam head. Nice hoppy aroma and bitter taste. Loaded with grapefruit, fruit tones. Nice beer from around the globe. (Velp 201702)

Aroma is malty and sweet, scarcely hoppy, not much like an IPA. It pours a clear, dark golden amber with a respectable, if not too persistent, pale cream head that leaves some good lacing. Flavor is fairly hoppy, but as much malty as hoppy, with a fruity undertone of pear and orange. Smooth texture has average body and fizz, and leaves a malty, slightly fruity, slightly hop bitter finish. Average, but still acceptable.

It pours a light amber and burnt-orange with a thick and wavy white head and some isolated clouds of lacing along the glass. An aroma of caramel malts, hops, oranges, pears, apples, breadiness, and light spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth although somewhat thin. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, orange and citrus, pear, apple, breads, and spiciness. Good, although different than the American IPAs: less hoppiness.

Sampled on 1/22/2010. This India Pale Ale pours a light orange gold color from a 33cl bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, with nice lacing. The aroma is biscuit and sweet, floral and herbal. Medium bodied IPA. The malts are caramel and bready, slightly sweet. The hops are herbal and earthy. Decent carbonation. A traditional English style IPA. More malty and somewhat sweeter than an American and maybe even an English IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with some bitterness in the background.
